Mere hours before Christmas Eve, Officers from the Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) and ABDF Coast Guard conducted a successful joint counter narcotics operation.

The Officers were on duty in the Five Islands area and seized over 2700lbs of cannabis on a vessel. Three (3) men were arrested, 33yr old Greg Warner of Willikies Village, 29yr old Gavin Williams of Seaton’s Village and 31yr old Vickram Dindial of Cassada Gardens.

When weighed, the packages amounted to over 2706.95lbs of marijuana with an estimated street value of EC $10,827,800.00.

The trio was charged with Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply, Being Concerned with the Supply of Cannabis, Drug Trafficking and Importation. Warner was additionally charged with Possession of Cannabis, Being Concern in the Supply of Cannabis and Drug Trafficking. The trio will make a court appearance on Monday 28th December 2015 to answer to these charges.
