The Ministry of Health and the Rehabilitation Centers and will cover the issues surrounding treatment and rehabilitating individuals who may pose a risk to themselves and society on a whole. The plan strives to ensure a standardization of treatment and rehabilitation of addicts and recovering addicts therefore contributing to a shorter recovery period for these users.

There are two in-patient treatment centers in Antigua and Barbuda that serves the entire population on island. In addition to these in-patient treatment centers, there are numerous out-patient clinics maintained by the community health centers and includes counseling and medical management of addiction.
