On Thursday 1st April 2014, the Office of National drug and Money Laundering Control Policy in conjunction with Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force Coast Guard seized a vessel in the English Harbour area with approximately 150 lbs of compressed cannabis onboard.

Five (5) persons are presently assisting the ONDCP with investigations. Three (3) of the five (5) persons who are Vincentian nationals will be charged for entering the country illegally. The vessel found with the drugs has been seized pending further investigations.
