The three persons, Wayne Hewlett, Keyon Hamilton and Junior Rivera Herrera from an organized crime group who were arrested and charged in late February during an operation conducted by the ONDCP, where Cocaine, Cannabis, Crack Cocaine and Oxycodone Hydrochloride Pills were seized, reappeared before Magistrate Conliffe Clarke on Tuesday 4th March, 2014.

Magistrate Clarke denied bail for Wayne Hewlett and Junior Rivera Herrera considering they were previously on bail for similar offences. However Keyon Hamilton who was jointly charged was granted bail in the sum of $500,000.00 with a cash component or collateral value of $250, 000.00. Additional bail conditions of $150,000.00 with a cash deposit of $20,000.00 were imposed for the additional drugs that were seized in his car. Hamilton also has to surrender all travel documents, present two (2) Antiguan sureties and report to the Langfords Police Station daily between 6am – 6pm except Sundays.

The matter is adjourned to Wednesday 7th May, 2014 for committal hearing.
